P7.8 SMD foldable led display screen comes with indoor and outdoor for option. For indoor, the brightness is 1500nits but it is able to meet 5800nits for outdoor. 11kg per sqr.meter is NOT a lie, that's why it is so quickly to mount one big panel in size 1m wide by 3m high in few seconds. 

It is mostly preferred by the leasing companies and put it to use for concert-show, music-show, wedding party, special event, entertainment performance, live-show, etc.

How to make the flexible led screen used as the semi-outdoor advertising billboard and window screen?

As the application of Semi-outdoor Advertising LED Billboard and Window LED Screen is getting more and more popular, here we would like to share couple of cases sent back by our customer when the installation has been done.

Firstly, let us have a short introduction on what is "semi-outdoor". As far as you know, "Semi-outdoor" means having the indoor LED screen used for outdoor use while the indoor LED screen still comes with the high-brightness accord to the outdoor weather situation. Then how to have the indoor screen to be with 100% waterproof (IP65) is very important. The external glass or acrylic frame will be required or involved into the installation just like the below project shows.

It is the double-side road billboard made by our indoor P6 flexible led display screen (P6-IP43).

Some customers may ask why not choosing the outdoor screen instead of the semi-outdoor screen? That’s a good question. Let us show you the benefits and strong points as followed:

1. Be able to help bring down the total budget but with the same outdoor optical technical parameters. For example, our high-bright P10-IP43 version still comes with 6800nits but the unit price is USD230 per sqr.meter less than P10-IP65.

2. The semi-outdoor screen is much lighter than outdoor version. That’s because the outdoor waterproof (IP65) version needs to be poured by silicone glue. It will be 5kg per sqr.meter heavier than indoor version. And therefore, the transportation cost and installation labor cost will be much less upon huge quantities.

3. During troubleshooting, the semi-outdoor version is easy to be dismantled and assembled again. That’s because there is no silicone-glue poured inside the flexible led screen. You don’t need to take out and pour again after you replace the dead LEDs or repair the PCB board. Frankly, that is not an easy job for the end-customer to do the maintenance for glue-pouring LED modules.

4. Comes with dual-weatherproof for outdoor permanent installation LED screen, especially for the those places always suffering from the heavy sunshine, hurricane, huge humidity or ultra-low temperature. You don’t need to worry about whether the screen is running well under such an awful condition if you adopt the semi-outdoor solution. The external frame will be definitely helpful for protecting the screen from damage.

That’s why most of our advertising customers would prefer semi-outdoor flexible led display instead of outdoor glue-pouring version.

Also, here’s another project of the Window LED Screen (cabinet led screen) with 7.8mm pixel pitch (P7.8-IP43) towards the commercial street for advertisement use. Just have our indoor flexible led screen mounted onto the top truss inside the store and behind the glass window.
